On 13 February, Consul-General Li Dong attended the "2024 Australian Chinese New Year Gala" in Adelaide, organised by the Chinatown Adelaide South Australia Inc. and other local Chinese associations. About 1300 people including Premier Malinauskas, Ministers and officials of the South Australian Government, local Chinese and people from all walks of life attended the event.
