On January 22th, Consul-General He Lanjing was invited to Adelaide Zoo to visit the pair of giant pandas "Fu Ni" and "Net Net" from China.

Fu Ni and Net Net moved to Adelaide Zoo together in November 2009. The move is part of a 10-year joint research program between the relevant departments of the two countries. This pair of giant pandas has become the star of the zoo, attracting a large number of Australian and foreign tourists every year.

Accompanied by the chief executive of the zoo Ms. Elaine Bensted, Consul-General He visited the cute and playful pandas, and listened to the introduction of their living environment, growth status, conservation and breeding as well as relevant public education activities at the Panda Pavilion. She expressed her gratitude to the zoo for taking good care of the giant pandas and hoped that these "friendship envoys" will continue to play the unique role in deepening the friendship between the two peoples.
