On March 23, Consul-General HE Lanjing attended upon invitation the award ceremony of the first “Chinese Story Telling Competition SA” held at the University of Adelaide, and presented awards to the winners of the Junior Group.

Consul-General HE said in her speech that the competition was meaningful in carrying forward the Chinese culture and improving parent-child relationship. She hoped that the young players would keep their passion for storytelling and tell more good stories, and the parents would also tell their children stories of culture, life and families. The Consulate-General would continue to work with schools, parents and the media to contribute more to the inheritance and development of Chinese culture abroad.

The “Chinese Story Telling Competition SA” was co-hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide and MGY media. The winners and participating organisations gave a wonderful report-back performance at the ceremony.
