On 17 October, Consul-General Li Dong met with Dr. Robert Feng, President of the Oz-Sino Association for Advancement of Culture & Arts and President of Ausfeng Group. Deputy Consul-General He Jiangchuan attended the meeting.

Dr. Feng introduced the cultural and art exchanges between Australia and China in recent years and exchanged views with the Consulate-General on cultural events such as the China National Symphony Orchestra's proposed concert in South Australia.

Consul-General Li appreciated the association’s effort in China-Australia cultural exchanges and expressed his expectation for Chinese high-level cultural and artistic activities represented by the National Symphony Orchestra to be held in SA, hoping that mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples can effectively enhance and that wonderful cultural activities can help to strengthen China-South Australia cooperation in various fields.
