On November 7, the “2025 Chinese Film Week” opened in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. Consul General of China in Adelaide Mr. Li Dong, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 70 people attended the ceremony, including South Australian Member of Parliament and Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment Mr. Tim Whetstone, Ms. Collins, State Director, South Australia State Office of the DFAT, Mr. Francis Wong, Chairman of Australia-ASEAN Business Forum, officials from the South Australian Government, leaders of the local Chinese community, teachers and students from local primary and secondary schools, and representatives from the local political, business, cultural, and educational sectors.
