On 28 April 2026, Consul-General Li Dong attended the China (Shenzhen Qianhai) – Australia (Adelaide) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, hosted by the Qianhai Authority and co-hosted by the Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was attended by approximately 70 guests, including Vice Director of the Qianhai Authority Xie Huihui; South Australian MP Aria Bolkus, representing the SA Minister for State Development; President of the Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ivan Kaukov; Director of the South Australia State Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia Jill Collins; as well as representatives from the local business sector and Chinese community.
