On September 21, at the invitation of South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, Acting Consul-General Wang Hongsun attended the State Reception to acknowledge and honour the service of the Governor of South Australia Frances Adamson, which was held at the Adelaide Oval. Governor Adamson and her husband, Premier Malinauskas and his wife, Deputy Premier Kyam Maher, State Ministers, Speaker of the House of Assembly Nat Cook, Opposition Leader Ashton Hurn, officials from various cities, and prominent figures from South Australia's political, military, business and academic communities attended the event. During the reception, Acting Consul-General Wang exchanged views with relevant guests on matters related to promoting friendly cooperation between China and South Australia.
