The 9th China-Eurasia Expo is currently underway in Urumqi, Xinjiang, with Pakistan participating as this year's Guest of Honor. In an exclusive interview, His Excellency Khalil Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, shared his reflections on attending the Expo in Urumqi for the third time. He noted that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has entered its 2.0 phase, and its four priority areas are all closely connected to Xinjiang. He also extended a warm welcome to Xinjiang enterprises, highlighting Pakistan's vast market, low labor costs, and supportive policies—including a 10‑year tax holiday and land lease options—encouraging them to invest, establish factories, and pursue cooperation in Pakistan.
