Consul-General He Lanjing paid a courtesy call on South Australia Premier Steven Marshall

On December 17th, Consul-General Ms. He Lanjing called on the Hon. Steven Marshall, Premier of South Australia.

Ms. He expressed her gratitude to the South Australian Government for its support and assistance to the Consulate-General and her appreciation to Premier for attaching great importance to developing relations with China. She said that the relationship between China and South Australia is an important part of the China-Australia relationship. The economies of China and South Australia are highly complementary, and the two sides have a good momentum of cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, education, tourism, culture, as well as science and technology. The Consulate-General is willing to maintain close communication with the State Government, strive to achieve more mutual benefits and win-win results, and promote the continuous development of the cooperation between the two sides.

Premier Marshall warmly welcomed Consul-General He, saying that the current State Government gives high priority to extending its ties with China, and the potential for future cooperation between the two sides is huge. The State Government is willing to work together with the Consulate-General to continuously strengthen pragmatic cooperation and exchanges to push the friendly relations between China and South Australia to a new level.
